Barrier to Bridge Walk

Barrier to Bridge: a fundraising walk along the Thames for the Thousand Madleens to Gaza flotilla. We hope to be joined during the morning by Palestinian tour guides Nidal and George from the Siraj Center in the West Bank, who will share stories of life under occupation and Palestinian cultural heritage under threat. The walk includes a symbolic model boat launch in Greenwich at noon. Long walk (11 miles): Meet at 9:30am at The View information centre by the Thames Barrier. Walk starts at 10am. Short walk (6 miles): Join at the Cutty Sark in Greenwich at around 12 noon for the model boat launch, then head off at 1pm. Both routes end at Tower Bridge. The route is flat and on footpaths throughout.
